FOUNDER’S NOTE

Yindogsyangcats was created from a very simple belief:

that care should never feel rushed, unfamiliar, or transactional.

I began pet sitting in 2018, long before YDYC formally existed. Over the years, through countless visits, homes, and routines, I came to understand something fundamental animals do not need more stimulation when their humans are away. They need steadiness. Familiarity. Someone who understands their rhythms and respects their boundaries.

My background in animal care includes over two years of hands-on work in a company specialising in cat behaviour, designing catification for each individual feline, as well as ongoing experience supporting senior pets and those requiring medical care. This shaped the way I work today: quietly, intentionally, and with careful attention to detail. I believe that an animal’s emotional safety begins with predictability how we enter a home, how we move, how we handle, and how we honour routines that already exist.

While my foundation lies deeply in feline behaviour, the same principles guide my work with dogs. Dogs, too, thrive when care is consistent and relationships are familiar especially in daily walks and extended absences. Stability is not optional; it is essential.

YDYC was formally founded in August 2022 as a reflection of these values. We accept a limited number of bookings, work within clear standards, and prioritise continuity over volume. Every policy, workflow, and team decision is shaped with intention so that care remains thoughtful, unhurried, and reliable.

Beyond pet sitting, I also explore visual storytelling through in-home pet photography, capturing animals as they truly are in the spaces they feel safest. These moments are not created, they are observed, patiently, once trust is established.

YDYC is not designed for everyone.

It is best suited for guardians who value preparation, consistency, and long-term relationships over convenience.
